Earnings Disclosure
This page is the official 5arz earnings statement, required by FTC guidance for any platform that makes income claims. Numbers below are based on member activity through the most recent calendar quarter. We update this page every 90 days.
Member earnings — debt-payoff phase
Most members start with a debt balance. While that balance exists, Stars automatically erase debt at a 1:1 rate (1 Star = $1 off your balance). No cash payouts during this phase.

Member earnings — cash payout phase
Once your balance hits zero, any Stars you earn after that can be cashed out to your bank via Stripe Connect at the same 1:1 rate. Payouts run weekly with a $10 minimum. Reported as miscellaneous income on Form 1099-NEC if you earn over $600 in a calendar year.
As of May 2026, fewer than 100 members have entered the cash payout phase. Average payout per active week is $45–$120. We'll update this section with broader statistics once the dataset stabilizes.
Team Program earnings
Members who refer others through the Team Program earn Stars tied to their downline's debt payoff:
- Team Member (L1): 1.00% of every dollar your direct recruits pay off
- Team Captain (L2): additional 0.25% override on your team's recruits
- Regional Lead (L3): additional 0.10% override on the third layer

All Team Program earnings depend on your recruits actually qualifying (verifying identity, running a credit pull, sending a first creditor payment) AND continuing to pay down debt. If your downline goes inactive, your earnings stop. We don't pay headcount bounties — only real product usage.
Business earnings — task posting
If you're posting tasks as a business: pricing runs $0.40–$2.00 per completed task depending on category complexity. Volume tiers (1K / 10K / 100K monthly tasks) unlock discounts. There are no per-poster earnings to disclose — businesses pay 5arz; they don't earn from us.
What we don't promise
We never claim:
- "Free money" — your debt erasure requires you to actually complete tasks
- "Guaranteed payoff in X months" — payoff time depends on your effort
- "Make $X/month" without context — averages vary, and we publish them above
- "Beat your job" or "quit your day job" — even at heavy activity ($1,800/month erased), this is part-time pay
Methodology
Numbers come from anonymized 5arz dashboard data, refreshed quarterly. Sample size as of Q1 2026: 2,800+ verified members across 3 launch states. We exclude member IDs from any internal analysis; aggregate numbers only.
