5arz Team Program · Terms

These terms govern participation in the 5arz Team Program (the "Program"). By activating your referral code at 5arz.com/team, you agree to the rules below. Plain-English versions of every rule live in the Help center.

1. Eligibility

You may participate in the Program if all of the following are true:

1. You have completed 5arz identity verification (Stripe Identity).
2. You are age 18 or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater).
3. You are a resident of one of the US states where 5arz operates.
4. Your 5arz account is in good standing (not frozen, not under investigation).

2. Compensation structure

The Program pays three tiers of compensation, all denominated in Stars (where 1 Star = $1 USD utility credit):

• Tier 1 (Direct): 1.00% of any debt your direct recruits retire through 5arz.
• Tier 2 (Team override): 0.25% of any debt retired by members two levels below you in your tree.
• Tier 3 (Campus override): 0.10% of any debt retired by members three levels below you.

Combined maximum upline payout per referee, across all tiers and all participants: 3.00% of that referee's debt burn-down. No member or combination of members may earn more than this cap on a single downstream account.

3. Qualification gate

You earn zero Stars from a recruit until ALL of the following are true:

1. Recruit has completed identity verification (Stripe Identity).
2. Recruit has run a credit pull via Spinwheel, Method Financial, or Plaid or manually entered debts with verification documentation accepted by 5arz.
3. 5arz has sent a first creditor payment on the recruit's behalf (i.e., payout_total_sent_cents > 0 in the member's account).

Once those three conditions are met, your earnings begin accruing automatically and continue for the lifetime of the recruit's active 5arz account.

4. Attribution

A recruit is attributed to your code when any of the following occurs:

• They land on 5arz.com/?ref=YOURCODE within 60 days of signing up.
• They enter your code in the verify flow's "referred by" field.
• They click a 5arz link in an Instagram bio, TikTok caption, SMS thread, etc., that includes your referral parameter.

Each recruit can be attributed to at most one direct upline. In the case of conflicting attributions, the most-recent code wins, provided no other code has already triggered a qualified event. Attribution is final once the recruit clears the qualification gate above.

5. Anti-fraud

The following are prohibited and may result in Star clawback, suspension, or termination from the Program:

• Self-referrals (signing up under your own code, or another account you control).
• Synthetic identity recruits — fabricated members, sock-puppet accounts, identity theft of any kind.
• Misrepresenting 5arz earnings, terms, or product mechanics to recruits.
• Promising income, payoff timelines, or returns beyond what is published at 5arz.com/earnings.
• Aggressive solicitation in venues where it is prohibited (workplace channels of non-participating employers, university Greek-letter risk programs, etc.).
• Coordinated activity designed to inflate qualified-recruit counts without genuine downline activity.

6. Compliance posture

The Program is designed to satisfy the FTC's framework for legitimate multi-level marketing as articulated in FTC v. Koscot Interplanetary, Inc., the Amway Safeguards Rule, and FTC v. BurnLounge, Inc. Specifically:

• There is no purchase requirement to join or remain in the Program.
• Compensation flows exclusively from real consumer product usage (debt actually paid down through 5arz), never from headcount or recruitment fees.
• Inventory loading, autoship, and "starter packs" are prohibited and impossible — there is nothing to buy.
• Income claims comply with FTC guidance: see 5arz.com/earnings for the required earnings disclosure.
• This is not a securities offering. Stars are USD-pegged utility credits, not investment products.

7. Promotions

Tier promotions are automatic when activity thresholds are crossed:

• Recruit → Team Member: 1 qualified direct recruit.
• Team Member → Team Captain: 5 active Team Members in your direct downline (active = paid down debt within the prior 90 days).
• Team Captain → Regional Lead: 3 Team Captains under you.
• Regional Lead → Senior Regional Lead: 5 Regional Leads under you.

8. Tax

Stars earned through the Program are reportable income once cashed out as USD. 5arz will issue Form 1099-NEC for any year in which you receive more than $600 in cash payouts. Stars used to retire your own balance may, in narrow cases, constitute discharge-of-indebtedness income (Form 1099-C). Consult a CPA for your specific situation.

9. Termination & modification

5arz may modify these terms with at least 30 days notice posted to this page. Material reductions in tier rates apply only to qualified events occurring after the effective date — Stars already credited are never clawed back except in cases of fraud.

5arz may terminate any participant for the prohibited conduct listed in Section 5. Termination forfeits unaccrued future earnings on the existing downline; previously credited Stars are not affected unless directly tied to fraudulent activity.

10. Disputes

Disputes about Program earnings, attribution, or terminations are first resolved via direct support (info@5arz.com). Unresolved disputes are subject to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, seated in Delaware, USA. By participating, you waive class-action rights.
